Coupa Software acquires corporate travel technology provider Yapta

Coupa Software, which provides business spend management software to corporate clients around the world, has acquired Yapta, a provider of airfare and hotel price assurance technology. Yapta’s system will be integrated into Coupa’s BSM Platform to track prices in real-time and instantly rebook travelers if a lower air or hotel price becomes available. “Business travel, which accounts for more than $1 trillion of spend per year, is often one of the spend areas within a business with the least visibility and control,” says Rob Bernshteyn, chairman and CEO of Coupa. “Yapta offers greater transparency into travel spend, helping businesses get the most value from their travel planning.
