Travel Counsellors sales surge over festive period

Travel Counsellors, the independent provider of bespoke travel services, has seen a 20% increase in people travelling over the festive period, alongside a 14% rise in those choosing to book their 2020 breaks during December. The news comes as Travel Counsellors has confirmed it has broken company records for the trading period 1 January – 31 December 2019, with total transaction value surpassing GBP 650 million (USD 853.14 million) for the first time since its launch in 1994. The most popular destinations for those travelling with the company in December were the US, South East Asia and the Caribbean, with the most popular destinations for 2020 departures being Florida, Dubai, Mexico and the Indian Ocean.
