West Virginia also known as the Mountain State has a lot to offer to tourists more than just scenic landscapes. Formed in 1861, West Virginia is a state rich in history and culture that all people of any ages would surely appreciate. It is the home for some of the country’s most important historic sites that feature relics and architecture dating back from the Native American age – such as the Organ Cave and Grave Creek – up to the 20th-century – including the West Virginia Museum of American Glass and the Bunker at Greenbrier.
