New Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar Now Serving Travelers at Pittsburgh International Airport

Travelers looking for a taste of Pittsburgh can now experience the legendary Primanti Bros. at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar opens today at the airport, bringing its iconic menu to airport travelers for the first time. The restaurant is known for piling fresh-cut fries and coleslaw on sandwiches – a practice it started in the ‘30s for hungry truckers on the go.“Nothing says welcome to Pittsburgh quite like Primanti Bros.,” said Eric Sprys, Chief Commercial Officer, Allegheny County Airport Authority. “Sense of place is important and we will continue to focus on bringing more of Pittsburgh’s restaurants into the terminal. When you land, it should feel like a part of Pittsburgh.”
