One of the World's Best Restaurants Is Coming to Riviera Maya

One of the world’s most legendary restaurants is coming to Mexico’s Riviera Maya, at least for a brief few days. El Celler de Can Roca is a three Michelin star restaurant from Spain that was named the best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine on two different occasions. The restaurant has also ranked among the top five on the planet every year for the past eight years as part of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. As if that isn’t enough, Chef Joan Roca won “The Best Chef Awards” in 2017, an honor voted on by the other chefs on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list to recognize an individual who has gained the respect and admiration of his peers for inspirational work and leadership in the industry. Now, in an effort to help rebuild schools in Mexico City that were impacted by recent natural disasters, Roca is bringing his world-renowned food to Moon Palace Resort Cancun for two special nights as part of a fundraising effort, according to a statement released by the resort. Though the special event is part of a fundraiser designed to benefit the schools, it's also another example of Palace Resorts’ ongoing effort to up the quality of the culinary offerings throughout its properties in Mexico and Jamaica.
