Renovation of Dimboola Library going on to boost MICE tourism

Work is underway to redevelop the Dimboola Library thanks to a funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.Minster for Local Government Adem Somyurek today turned the first sod on the $1.2 million redevelopment, which will see the facility upgraded to better serve the community’s needs. The Labor Government is investing $600,000 towards the project through the Living Libraries Infrastructure Fund, with Hindmarsh Shire Council to deliver the project and match the Government’s contribution. The redevelopment will transform the current library into a multi-purpose facility with extra space for collections, a dedicated children’s area and an outdoor space for community events to be staged.
