Romania, Georgia seeks more tourism cooperation

To speed up the promotion of bilateral tourism, Romania and Georgia agreed on Monday to speed up the promotion of bilateral tourism development by tapping the potential of cooperation between the two countries.Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said in a joint statement with her visiting Georgian counterpart Mamuka Bakhtadze that they agreed to regularly hold meetings of the Joint Commission to fully capitalize on the existing potential.Tourism is a sector of high development potential between the  two nations.Dancila said  connectivity in its entirety be it  business-to-business relations, to tourism, to inter-personal contacts in general, is an important element that they should be further supporting.The Culture Ministry of Romania and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia after the meetings of the two heads of government signed a cultural cooperation agreement.
