Sabre Corporation announced its acquisition of Nuvola, a leading global provider of hotel service improvement and guest engagement software. The deal comprises Nuvola technology and guest enablement software and the integration of Nuvola staff into Sabre. The terms of the arrangement were not made public.
Sabre anticipates advancing its hotel retailing and merchandising strategy and expanding its property and operational capabilities by leveraging the Nuvola technologies. The Nuvola capabilities will aid in addressing the on-property fulfillment difficulties that arise when hoteliers provide a more comprehensive array of ancillaries and amenities. Sabre's extensive retailing, merchandising, and fulfillment capabilities will enable hoteliers to expand their offers by addressing this crucial demand.
