Vietnamese tourism to be promoted in Chinese cities

The information was released at a regular press conference held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) in Hanoi on April 17.The activities are expected to feature the participation of around 300 travel businesses, airlines and representatives of tourism management agencies from Vietnam and Chinese localities.Exchanges between enterprises from the two sides, as well as activities introducing Vietnamese destinations and art performances, will be the highlights of the programme.The event, as part of the national tourism promotion programme in 2019, aims to attract more visitors from the Chinese market to Vietnam.According to the Institute for Tourism Development Research,Chinese visitors always account for 28%-30% of the total international arrivals in Vietnam.
