EU Countries have agreed on a common approach to temporary restrictions on travel into EU and the possible lifting of such restrictions. Essential Travellers should always be allowed to travel inti the EU, independently of where they come from. All Persons who are travelling from any third country for an essential or non essential reason should have tested negative in a PCR test taken at the earliest 72 hours before.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been felt across the globe. Governments across the world during 2020 and into 2021 have quite rightly sought to minimise the loss of life through lockdowns of various types. This has had the desired effect and has reduced infection rates and mortality. The real risk is that one of these variants impact on the immunity inferred by either previous infection or by vaccines.
