Coorg tourism will present you with some of the best opportunities to enjoy your holidays. Besides the alluring atmosphere, the hill station has a rich cultural and historical backdrop. During the 2nd and 6th century, the northern part of this region was under the control of the Kadambas of Goa. Later, in the 11th century, this region witnessed a bloody war between the Kadambas and the Gangas. Till the 14th century, Coorg was ruled by various dynasties such as the Cholas, the Hoysalas, and the Vijayanagara kings.
