In 1977 the Millmore Family, headed by Mr Tony Millmore, took over the operations of Easts Holidays Pty Ltd trading as Easts Holidays. In 1987 the company continued to evolve with a new name to incorporate a sister company, the trading name changed from Easts Holidays to Venture MacDonald. Significantly, 1987 also saw Venture MacDonald take over the General Sales Agent (GSA) role for Holland America Line in Australia as well as the Tauck family’s leading tour operation brand Tauck World Discovery.
